The Hotel America in Igualada, located 35 minutes from the entrance to Barcelona and 20 minutes from the Monastery of Montserrat, is an urban hotel characterized by its warm yet functional atmosphere. It is located along Igualada’s main commercial and amenities axis (under consolidation along the old N-II road) and is well connected to the A-2 motorway.
The hotel has 34 spacious rooms, 29 doubles and 5 triples, fully equipped with a bathroom, heating, air conditioning, TV and safe.
A fully renovated ‘Urban Superior’ quality room serves as a model for future refurbishment plans.

    Continental breakfast was excellent, but cost extra. Room was comfortable, if in need on modernisation. Public areas in the hotel are very nice.

    On a main road but centre of town was just a 10 minute walk away. We arrived by bike and the staff were helpful in stowing our bikes in a storeroom overnight

    Habitación y baño amplios. Camas cómodas, con almohadas y mantas extras pero con la calefacción fue suficiente. Muy bien situado, personal amable.

    El tamaño de la habitación está bien. La piscina y la zona de la terraza excelente. Para comprar en las inmediaciones hay un mercadona, bazares y para comer algo rápido un burger en los bajos del edificio.

    La recepcionista muy amable. Nos buscó un sitio para cenar porque le dijimos que era un poco tarde y no encontrábamos nada abierto. La habitación correcta y muy limpia. La situación ideal si tienes que ir a algún curso en el Hospital de Igualada.
